Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected and how it’s used when you visit www.Sloww.co (the “Site” or “Website”) as a guest or registered member. This policy applies to the Site as well as email and other electronic messages. By using or interacting with the Site in any way, you accept and agree to the Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time in order to reflect changes to Site practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date updated will be shown at the top of this page; any updates to the policy will be in effect immediately after being published.
Information is collected about and from you to provide communications, products/services, and understand/enhance your Site experience. You are subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policies of all connected services where applicable. This Site does not control the Privacy Policies of any third parties.
Website Platform, Blog Comments, Contact Form, Testimonials, and Other Communications (Rainmaker): Sloww utilizes the Rainmaker platform which runs on WordPress. Your name and email are required to leave a comment, but your email address is not shown publicly. All comments remain on the site indefinitely unless this functionality is turned off in the future. If we correspond via contact form or email, I will receive your email address and any other information you provide. I do not share or sell any of your personal information. If you provide positive feedback about Sloww, I may highlight it on the Site as a testimonial by using your first name and last initial (your email address and any other personal information are never shared publicly). If you would like your testimonial removed for any reason, please contact me.
Premium Membership, Courses, and Shop (Rainmaker / MemberPress / LearnDash / WooCommerce / Stripe / PayPal): Rainmaker uses third party software including MemberPress (memberships), LearnDash (courses), and WooCommerce (shop). All payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal. Sloww does not see or store payment information. See more about memberships in the Terms of Service.
Newsletter (ConvertKit): If you sign up to receive the Sloww Sunday newsletter, you provide your email address (and in some cases, your first/last name). This information is used solely for email delivery through ConvertKit. I do not sell any of your personal information to anyone, and you are free to unsubscribe at any time. I never send spam.
Google Analytics: Google Analytics is enabled to help understand how visitors use the Site (eg location, traffic, usage, etc). Google Analytics collects information like your IP address, your browser, your type of device, and more. This information may be used to improve the Site, content, and products/services.
Cookies, Log Files, & Pixels: Cookies are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. Log files track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. Social media pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Embedded Content & Outbound Links: Posts on the Site may include embedded content (e.g. YouTube videos) or links to websites outside of the Site. Please refer to the original websites for their Privacy Policies. Sloww is not responsible for the Policies/Terms of any other website.
Security: The Site takes reasonable precautions to protect your personal information (e.g. https/SSL) and always attempts to work with reputable third party software. Please keep in mind that there are no guarantees of complete security on the Internet. You use the Website at your own discretion and risk.
Children Under the Age of 13: This Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and the Site does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. No one under 13 may provide information to or on the Site. If you believe that we may have received information from a child under 13, please contact me.

Terms of Service
By using Sloww (the “Site” or “Website”) or any products/services provided through this Site, you agree to the Terms of Service (“Terms” or “TOS”) and agree to be bound by the Terms.
The following TOS govern all use of Sloww.co and all content, services and products available at or through the Website. The Website is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the Terms contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (Privacy Policy, Disclaimers, Copyright Policy, Refund Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site (collectively, the “Agreement”).
Sloww reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Accounts and Premium Memberships: You agree to provide complete and accurate information when you purchase/register for an account. You will be solely responsible and liable for any activity that occurs under your account. This membership is a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access premium content in exchange for payment and per these TOS and Privacy Policy. Payments for this membership are made through a third-party payment processing service (PayPal or Stripe). You agree to abide by that payment processing service’s TOS.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Website is provided “as is”. Sloww hereby disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Sloww makes no warranty that the Website will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You understand that you download from, or otherwise obtain content or services through, the Website at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of Liability: In no event will Sloww be liable with respect to any subject matter of this Agreement under any contract, negligence, strict liability or other legal or equitable theory for: (i) any special, incidental or consequential damages; (ii) the cost of procurement or substitute products or services; (iii) for interruption of use or loss or corruption of data; or (iv) for any amounts that exceed the fees paid by you to Sloww under this Agreement during the twelve (12) month period prior to the cause of action. Sloww shall have no liability for any failure or delay due to matters beyond their reasonable control. The foregoing shall not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sloww from and against any and all losses, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, claims, and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Website, including but not limited to your violation of the Agreement.
Termination: Sloww may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate this Agreement, you may simply discontinue using the Website. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Premium Membership Annual/Lifetime Access: In the US, the FTC requires clarity around “lifetime.” In this case, lifetime means Sloww’s lifetime (as long as Sloww.co exists). For annual access, your membership will be automatically renewed until you cancel it.
Amazon Affiliates: Sloww participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn commissions by linking to Amazon. When you purchase a book through an Amazon link, Sloww earns a small percentage. This helps fund the costs to support the site and the ad-free experience.

All content that is curated/summarized (e.g. quote pages, book summaries) utilizing verbatim quotes (any content within quotation marks) belongs to the original author/speaker. I take care to provide attribution so there’s no confusion as to the original source. What I offer the reader that’s new/unique/transformative is the creative curation/organization of quotes thematically (as opposed to organizing quotes by an author’s book chapters, for instance). I try to understand what an author is saying/thinking (explicitly or implicitly) in each quote (hand-picked by me personally through my own learning) and then group a selection of similar quotes together to give an introduction/overview of what is said about a particular theme. These pages are intended as learning resources for educational purposes and meant to offer an introduction/overview of a person/book that sparks interest for readers to go explore more (they are not substitutes/replacements for the original work). Inevitably, these pages actually drive book sales for the original authors (as evidenced by thousands of clicks and book sales Sloww has referred to Amazon via Amazon Affiliates). Many authors realize this and embrace book summaries, and some even reach out requesting that I do quoted summaries of their books because they know it will get them more exposure and sell more books (Sloww has tens of thousands of followers via email and social media, so authors/creators often want to be featured on the site because it’s free marketing for them). However, I only summarize the books that personally interest me on my own learning journey, and I always acquire the books on my own (even if an author wants to send me a free book). All this being said, I understand that everyone may not feel the same way about quote pages and/or book summaries, so if you or someone you represent are featured on the site and feel something was misattributed, too comprehensive, or simply do not want to be included, please contact me for updates/removal.
As for my own original writing/content, you may post my own quotes or short excerpts (from articles, podcasts, etc) along with my public infographics (without modifying them) as long as you provide attribution (Kyle Kowalski at Sloww.co) preferably with a link back to the site. If you want to create a quote page of my original quotes (from my articles/podcasts for instance), I support that. Some examples of what not to do include: stealing/uploading/reselling/etc my paid products in full, copying/sharing full pages/large sections of paid products, downloading and reposting course videos/content, etc. If you have any questions, want to use more writing/content than is outlined here, or want to use something specifically from a paid product, please contact me.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital content, all products/services are final sale and non-refundable. For any products/services with recurring subscriptions/memberships, you can cancel recurring future payments at any time.
Book purchases made through Amazon affiliate links should be returned through Amazon.
